Any tendon throughout the body can be affected, but the rotator cuff muscles of the shoulder are one of the most common sites. If this ever has to be removed surgically, it comes out like toothpaste!
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a common condition which causes pins and needles and numbness in the hands. One of the classic features is waking up in the morning and having to shake the hands to help get the feeling back.
