For those with private health insurance, most funds will cover around 50% of the costs and you can expect an out off pocket cost of around $50 for your first session, and around $40 for any follow up sessions. At Milsons Point Health, we strive to provide high quality, personalised healthcare, every time. This starts with all our Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, and Dietetics appointments being offered as private one-on-one consultations, where we listen to your story, and find out what goals you would like to achieve by coming to see us.
A thorough examination is then performed to better understand how your body moves, and anything we can do to make it move better. We give you an honest and simple explanation on what might be going on, give a realistic time frame for recovery, and let you know all the treatment options available to you.
Together a management plan is created and important goals are set. This might be getting out of pain, getting stronger, performing better in a sport, preventing injuries, or even just making sure you age gracefully. We may use some hands-on treatment like massage, joint mobilisations, joint manipulation, or dry needling (acupuncture), together with an individualised exercise program that you can take home with you.
We have a diverse group of health professionals that can help you reach your health goals.
